21. Enjoy Your Calling

Many of us understand that we are "vessels" of God and that He Himself lives in us. But for some reason, we think that if we enjoy the things we're doing, then it must not be God's call on our lives! But really, God fills us with all kinds of passions and desires, and we are meant to ENJOY the living out of these passions and desires. He doesn't call us to do things that we don't enjoy. To the contrary, the things that He fills us with are good, helpful and beneficial to others, and we are "wired" by Him to naturally enjoy our gifts and callings.

7. When Behavior Isn't About Rules But Is About Dignity and Worth

God has created us with such a great deal of value! We are worth a lot to Him. If we see ourselves as worth less than the astounding opinion that He has of us, we will act accordingly. But if we see ourselves as the objects of beauty and nobility that He has bestowed upon us, we won't need laws and rules to govern our behavior, but rather we will naturally want to walk accordingly and we will treat each other accordingly.
